Assistant Community Manager

Description 

Blue Ridge Mountain Club (BRMC) in Blowing Rock NC, managed by CAMS, is on the search for an On-site Assistant Community Manager to work directly with the BRMC Community Manager. This role will assist the Community Management Team in a variety of operationally focused tasks and directives. Prior Association Management is REQUIRED. This position is full time. 

Responsibilities

  • Assist Community Manager in all aspects of the job
  • Provide administrative support
  • Assist with communication with community boards of directors
  • Schedule and prepare for regular board meetings
  • Maintain communication with homeowners
  • Respond to homeowner needs
  • Assist in the analysis of monthly financial reports, learn to create variance reports for the boards of directors
  • Contribute to monthly management reports
  • Contact vendors for community maintenance and special projects
  • Attend regular meetings with the management firm

Requirements

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Must be detail oriented
  • Ability to learn on the job
  • Some general accounting/financial knowledge
