Under this mountain sky, getting outside doesn’t require a plan. It just requires a first step. With trailheads close, fresh air everywhere, and miles of ridgeline and forest inviting you forward, the outdoors becomes part of your everyday rhythm. Some days it’s a long hike to an overlook that reminds you how big the world is. Other days it’s a quiet loop between calls, a morning walk with coffee still warm in your hand, or a reset that takes less time than scrolling your phone.
Step out and you’re on your way. BRMC’s trail system is woven into the mountain, offering everything from easy loops to longer ridgeline routes, plus overlooks that make you stop and stay awhile. With conservancy-guided hikes, members can also experience the land through a deeper lens, learning more about the forests, wildlife, and natural beauty that define this place. It’s the kind of everyday adventure that clears your head and brings you back better.
Watson Gap Park is where the community comes out to play. With pickleball courts, lawn games, and a pavilion built for gathering, it’s the perfect spot for friendly competition, casual hangouts, and family time that feels effortless. Enjoy Trailside Eats, seasonally. No planning required.
This is your warm-weather home base. It’s summer, done right, just the way you planned.
Freshwater ponds and creeks are woven throughout BRMC, creating tucked-away places to slow down, explore, and cast a line. Across the property, miles of mountain streams reveal quiet fishing holes, hidden nooks, and native brook trout, offering Members a peaceful way to connect with the land and the rhythm of the water.

The preserved landscape at BRMC is alive with deer, fox, wild turkey, grouse, and a wide variety of bird species that make their home throughout the mountain. From quiet morning sightings along the trails to the sounds of birds moving through the trees, wildlife is part of the everyday rhythm of life here.

BRMC lays claim to miles of creeks and streams on property, intermittent and perennial, along with pocket wetlands, and a variety of waterfalls, all of which are mapped. Our current state classification is ORW, “Outstanding Resource Watershed,” a designation we intend to maintain through careful use and preservation of our natural resources.

BRMC is pristine and preserved, sculpted and nurtured by Mother Nature, and home to a wide variety of indigenous flora and fauna that thrives throughout our 6,000+ acres. Chesnuts, maples, black and white oaks, and towering pines abound.
